My friend Santana is a actor/VO artist and she asked me to take some headshots of her. I haven’t actually done professional headshots before, but I knew roughly how to to it. So we grabbed some 2$ matte board from Michaels and set up a 3 light photoshoot in my apartment.

We got Blue and white paper, but with some editing I was able to make it look like more than that. Also Santana brought a bunch of outfits so we were able to get quite a few looks done in one session.

The matte board wasn’t actually large enough to fit behind her so we taped 4 pieces together and then I just edited out the seams in Lightroom.

They came out pretty nice considering the 8$ budget!
