Way up in the Angeles hill, which takes a journey on the 118 is a public shooting range adequality named “Angeles Shooting Range”. I went to day with a few of my animation buddies to try out some of their fire arms, and plink away at metal targets.
Here are the gun lads. Alex brought his pink 1911, and Dylan brought his 92FS. There were also some 22’s and some other larger guns we will get to later.
Here is the range in all it’s peppered glory. I’m used to shooting slightly larger targets with my dad, so I performed quite terribly today.
Here is Alex’s Pink 1911. Notice the Kirby charm on it. That makes it more accurate I’m certain!
I’m a lousy shot, but at least I look cool in this photo.
Then we moved to the Rifle Range, where Dan brought his Enfeild and his AR.
Here are Tess and Dan too! Tess is giving the 22 a go.
The Enfield shoots 7.62 rounds that pack a punch right into your shoulder.

Here’s me holding up the the 70 year old battle rifle.
These photos make me look cool, but I was a lousy shot with the Enfield. The AR however is like a laser beam, and very easy to operate.

Whelp that’s about it for the Angeles shooting Range. A lovely place really, and so close to Burbank. They are serious about safety there. Here we are during a target switch. we all have to stand back away from the yellow lines and have the action open on all the guns, with everything unloaded. it happens every 10 minutes. So its kind of a nice break.
