Ever year in October, 60 thousand animation students descended upon Pasadena this weekend for Lightbox Expo!

The giant letters are a site to be hold. And there are always people hanging out inside them, they are stronger than the Hollywood sign I’m certain.

It really is a site to behold. It seems to get bigger and bigger every year, this year i was a casual observer and just walked around. Perhaps next year I will do another booth with Max. But its getting pretty overwhelming.

Here are all the students out side participating in some live model drawing.

Inside was slightly less chaotic, we spent some time at the Wacom booth drawing on the new android tablet they had. Also I have a new mustache!

We also checked out some of our friends merchandise! I really like Kristy Kay’s stuffed candy corn

I think its too overwhelming to do these conventions every year. I’m glad this year we only spent a couple of hours on the floor.
